Computer Vision & Image Processing

Faros has employed the full domain of Computer vision including acquiring, processing and analysing video images and porting them into the simulation platform; analysing its contributing effects on the machine and environment dynamics, and porting it back to the graphics and also to the digital database for further processing as well as for assessment of engineering outcomes. Advanced Image Processing Techniques have been employed in developing Virtual and Augmented Reality scenarios successfully in development of missile launcher and small arm simulators.

Virtual & Augmented Reality

Faros has successfully employed VR and AR in porting of physical objects into visual imagery created on simulation platform. These techniques have been successfully developed and employed in the Missile Launcher Simulator and Sight Units in the simulators wherein the real time flying and stationary objects are ported alongside simulated scenarios and simulated for results.

Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence

Faros has developed and employed simultaneous multiple chains of narrow AI algorithms to predict and act machine and human behaviours in the small arm simulator scenarios. Gaming scenarios progress based on multiple subjects and objects behaving in a predictable behaviour of their characters in response to the other players and physical interjections. War games are built and played in the environment created out of resultant progressions. Porting and integration of these I/Os to the game engine and the physical machines have been successfully achieved and perfected.

Unity 3D Game Engine

The game engine used for most developments is Unity 3D. Expertise has been developed to port in and out the data signals from physical machines; and the high end machine dynamic modules developed on Matlab and other Engineering friendly tools. The various elements that come together in the game engine have been optimised to reach high performance through efficient programming.

& ANSI-C Platforms

Faros has developed techniques to create extremely efficient and stable motor controls for precise and dynamic movement patterns of the servo motors, required for precision movement required for simulation motion platform. The proprietary innovative techniques used are to create effective controls manged in parts in computer and motor controller.
